Les presento un extenso resumen de mis mejores fotos de todo lo que ha dado de si la meteorología en estos últimos años en esta espectacular isla, tenía muchas mas fotos, incluidas las que hice en los últimos años que viví en Avila antes de venirme para La Palma, pero el ordenador en el que tenía guardadas todas esas fotos se estropeo y no pude recuperarlas, y tenía buen material como las brutales tormentas que azotaron el interior peninsular en mayo y junio del 2004 o la gran nevada de Avila de febrero de 2005.
Pero bueno, les dejo todo lo mejor del material que aún mantengo desde el año 2007, un resumen de estos últimos 6 años en los que ha habido variedad de todo tipo. Todas las fotos, excepto unas muy pocas, son de mi antigua cámara la cual ya desheché, la nueva casi que no la he estrenado meteorológicamente hablando, pero espero poder darle uso próximamente.
Las fotos no son gran cosa, ya que la cámara no daba para mucho mas, era una olympus c-250 si no recuerdo mal, solo 4 megapixels y la compré en 2003. No las he ordenado cronológicamente, ni por situaciones ni por año, están mezcladas de todo.

Pues son magnificas todas las fotos,siempre me ha llamado la atencion esta isla de Canarias,por lo verde y lluviosa que es,las islas Canarias en su conjunto,se parecen mucho a Andalucia en la climatologia (salvando las diferencias claro,hablamos de islas),ya que cuanto mas al oeste del archipielago,mas lluvia (como ocurre en Andalucia) y cuanto mas al este,menos lluvia,asi las islas orientales vienen a ser como Almeria en Andalucia,dominadas por la sequia,y todo esto sin barreras orograficas,salvo las barreras locales de las islas mas montañosas,pero claro,la zona de avance normal de las borrascas,por asi decirlo "el camino que estas tienen" apenas roza la parte oriental,de ahi su clima extremadamente seco,en Almeria el clima extremadamente seco (por debajo de 1.000 m,a partir de esta cota es bastante mas lluvioso,incluso puntualmente humedo en areas de grandes sierras) se debe al efecto foehn,principalmente propiciado por la infranqueable muralla de Sierra Nevada y las cordilleras sub-beticas ;)

¡Tengo que decirte que tienes un archivo de fotos espectacular! Me han encantado todas, sobretodo las de cumulonimbos y tormentas, son todas super impactantes.
Espero que sigas ampliando mucho más el archivo, así cuando haya sequía de tormentas te acordarás muy bien de lo que cazaste en su día!

Reportajes como este rompen muchos mitos meteorológicos sobre el clima de las Islas Canarias.

Gracias, pues si, a menudo se rompen muchos mitos de la meteo de aquí, y mas en esta isla que como ya dijo Behemoth, es la mas lluviosa, y con diferencia respecto a las islas que le siguen por detrás, La Gomera y Tenerife. Y por tanto, la posibilidad de ver fenómenos extremos es mayor también aquí, aunque en esta isla, debido a la escasa población y la presencia de grandes zonas despobladas hace que casi siempre exista escazes de información ante eventos meteo importantes, ya no solo en los medios de comunicación, sino también en esto de los foros donde siempre hemos sido pocos los foreros de esta isla.

Vaya archivo tienes! Enhorabuena, me han gustado mucho los arco-iris dobles, las cencelladas y heladas y los mares de nubes. En uno has pillado un espectro de Brocken, un fenómeno que tengo ganas de fotografiar. A ver si con la nueva cámara vas ampliando el archivo e incluyes también fotos de rayos y relámpagos ;D

Si algo caracteriza nuestra geografía es la variedad de climas que en ella existen, es una gran riqueza meteorológica la que tenemos :D1

Genial el reportaje, me han encantado un montón de fotos, pero claro, como has puesto tantas...es normal. Muy buena retrospectiva.

Gracias. Pues si, me llevó su rato hacerlo, y eso que solo puse un 5-10% del material que tengo. Aunque hay material que me falta para haber hecho un reportaje completo con todos los fenómenos, como ya comentaron los rayos, pues la cámara que tenía no me permitia fotografiarlos, era de disparo retardado, pulsabas el disparador y tardaba dos segundos en hacer la foto. Pero luego si me di cuenta de que faltaban algunas cosas importantes, como las invasiones de calima, pero que de eso si que no tengo fotos, ya que no es un fenómeno que a mi me agrade como para fotografiarlo. evil O también situaciones de nieblas muy espesas, que ahí si se me olvidó poner alguna foto.
