TROPICAL CYCLONE INFORMATION BULLETIN
For 0500 EST on Tuesday the 6th of February 2007

At 4 am EST Tuesday, Tropical Low central pressure 1000 hPa was located near
latitude 16.8 south, longitude 147.4 east, which is about 175 km east of Cairns
and 165 km east northeast of Innisfail.
The low is moving east at about 4 kilometres per hour and should gradually
intensify over the next 24 hours.


The low may develop into a tropical cyclone during the next 24 to 36 hours while
moving away from the coast.

This may produce gale force winds in offshore waters.
Large seas will develop along the coast during the week.

The next bulletin will be issued by 11 am EST.
